Sprinkler Fitter / Helpers
|
Titan Fire Protection is a recognized leader in the sales and service of state-of-the-art monitor and control systems for fire alarm, security, sound, portable fire extinguishers, and sprinkler systems in the high density residential industry. Our continued success and growth has produced a need for talented Sprinkler Fitters and Helpers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installation of water based fire sprinkler systems, including start up through final testing.
- Follow verbal and written instructions, read and understand complex construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
- Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet or more.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area. Pick up and properly dispose of all trash associated with Titan Fire Protection work. Wear appropriate safety equipment as required including hats and shoes.
- Properly secure all Titan Fire Protection tools and equipment at the end of each work period so as to prevent damage or loss.
- Review project drawings and obtain all facts necessary to perform all installation activities according to specifications.
- Complete and submit time reports and other documents as required.
- Bring to the immediate attention of the supervisor all changes, discrepancies and coordination problems that impair installation activities or schedules.
- May be required to work alternate shifts, weekends, and/or away from home to meet customer installation requirements.
- Work with local authorities to schedule and perform required inspections.
- Perform other duties as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Working knowledge of wet, dry and pre-action sprinkler systems. CPVC experience is a plus.
- Follow verbal and written instructions, read and understand complex construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
- Reliability
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the industry.
- Satisfactory completion of background check and drug test.

Fire Alarm Techs

We are presently looking for motivated, service oriented, licensed fire alarm technicians. You must be currently licensed and have a minimum of three (3) years experience. Satisfactory completion of background check and drug test is required

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Skilled in the use of computers operating in the Windows environment.
- Experience with CCTV, IRC-3 EST-2 EST-3, FCC, and card access a plus.
- NICET certification is also a plus.
- Must have valid drivers license and be able to obtain a PERC card.
